Event Category: Beginning Handgun

The BEGINNING HANDGUN CLASS is designed to give participants a hands-on introduction in the safe handling and proper orientation of a handgun.  In just three hours students will be provided a thorough introduction to firearm safety, handling and shooting skills. It is our goal to provide beginning shooters with the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to own and use a handgun safely.

The shooting portion begins with .22s as students learn to master the fundamentals.  Everything is provided for this portion of class: target, use of handguns, ammunition,  eye and ear protection if needed and range fee.  Once students show consistent accuracy on the target they are given the opportunity to try a variety of handguns in different calibers.
